It can be hard to acknowledge that all of these things are true: Chris is a victim, and a perpetrator, and someone who the system failed, and a creator/artist, and a seriously flawed person who has done harm and doesn't know how to recognise it.

Idk man I felt bad for Chris until he 🍇ed his mom, and tried to justify it afterwards. But I agree the keyword here is ( Tragedy)

Edmund I lose sleep thinking about the cancelled Chris Chan Four Souls Card. Is there any chance this would ever become available for those of us who don't have any moral qualms about collecting this typa stuff

Chris chans story is one where almost everyone is a villain and none of them are self aware enough to know that

Chris’ story is truly a story of how cruel the internet can be to someone who’s different the fact that Chris HAS to be one of the most documented people

Chris’s story is very tragic I watched a documentary about him and was sick to my stomach.

Chris’s life never had to be this way and that’s the most tragic part about it.

What he did is unforgivable, but these days people tend to gloss over the fact that the entire internet drove a mentally disabled man to utter insanity over the course of almost 2 decades

With all the stuff that has happened with Chris and their mom it's just... I question how people feel comfortable buying from them and supporting them.

This is the most respectful I have ever heard anyone be towards Chris on the internet. They are fascinating but unfortunately a lot of people have used Chris as a lolcow and an excuse to be horrific to Chris and Chris’s identity and Chris’s art.

It was very evident since the beginning that their parents truly failed and didn’t offer them any answers to their autistic needs for example. I think it’s also partially due to how US society responds to disability and high needs like that.

chris is a perfect example of how we treat people and how the internet can influence people. their story is rotten to the core but they are an artist and they deserve to live. utterly fascinating to learn about at least

i breathed a sigh of relief. i really detest people who see chrischan as lolcow and nothing more. if anything the only reason chris chan is the way they are is how the internet just collectively harassed them. thank you Edmund for a very nuanced take

its a weird position to be in as interest in Chris Chan borders on morbid curiosity, its hard to diffrentiate between interest and support when it comes to contreversial people

chris is one of those people who is easy to sympathize with but at the same time easy to laugh at because after a certain point you realize that he constantly brought that attention on himself and never learned anything

It’s an astonishing story. A story of someone who was beat down by society, by the internet, and by the people surrounding them. It’s a story of probably one of the largest moral dilemmas I’ve seen. Is it ok to attack someone like Chris Chan? Whose fault is it? Is it even ok that some parts are the funniest thing to me and I can’t help but laugh? What does it say about our society? What would I do if I were in their shoes? Am I just as vulnerable? The entire story is an emotional rollercoaster, and you can’t help but laugh sometimes, but sometimes you just feel sooooo bad.

You’ve also been an artist on the internet for a very long time and we see how it’s effected Chris but how has is effected you? Just one look into Christory and we can see how much being a public face on the internet can take a toll on someone very seriously but for you, at least from what you’ve shown the public, it seems like it hasn’t been as crazy
