I had to have my dog put to sleep last year she had a tumor somewhere that cause her belly to swell. Even though I know it was best for her I still feel awful about it, I hope see forgive me

My cat, who usually wasn’t very friendly, ran into the house, jumped on my lap, gave me a cuddle, then promptly ran out of the house on to the road in front a car. It was so odd. Like he said this is my ride, see ya.

my parents 15 year old dog, could barely see, walk, he stunk. I told them to put him down bc the boy was miserable and it was the right thing. a week later, my mom is calling amd screaming that Pierre had drowned in a pool weve had for years.

We had a dog that ran off one time and my Dad told me that when dogs are ready to die they wander off somewhere to pass. This is so interesting and just proves that animals understand and know about everything in your life ❤️.

God this sounds like my grandparents dog right as she had cancer and him kidney failure. he was a corgi mix. he just stopped eating and no one could force him. he was only like 12 or 13

My 9 yr old dog seemed fine but 1 morning I found her unresponsive. The previous day I had complained about her hairs falling off everywhere and I had been mean to her when she was barking excessively. Following a baby loss a few months prior, we have not paid her as much attention. Did she let herself go because she didn’t want to cause us any trouble? If that’s so, I would feel even more guilty. I miss her so much 💔

My papaw had a dog for 16 years and my papaw died then 5 months later his dog died and it wasn’t old age he went outside and was just laying in the road never got hit we were outside watching he just laid down. He was so depressed without my papaw died

that....is oddly comforting to know. when my sweet boy was put to rest, I could sense him pop in near me. while I was 1 hr away. every now and again I will sense a small chihuahua pop in near me.

our dog Rhex and my dad were best friends. When my dad passed on, he kept looking for him and two weeks later he was run over by a car on the road he used to cross for years😏. RIP to both of them

My childhood dog, left when I was around 19 when things were getting worse with my parents. He got into the trash and got a blockage. My vet told me off record that he knew he was going to get worse health wise, so he left. Perhaps he knew he was a comfort at home I was holding on to and he knew it was time for both of us to move on.
