An owner surrender. A bite on his record. Abandoned. Afraid. Alone. He came in with his best friend — a more confident dog who was adopted right away. Capone… stayed behind. He was scared. Lost without his buddy. And in a moment of fear, he tried to escape. A volunteer reached for him, and in panic… he bit. Not because he’s mean. Because he was broken. I looked at his face — and I knew. We couldn’t let him die. We emailed the shelter. We made a plan. And then — the magic happened. ✨ An email popped into our inbox. A woman — a past Wagmor adopter from Arizona — saw Capone online. She didn’t know we were already trying to save him. She just saw a dog who needed her.
