My ex wife used to do that when we lived in SC. I would come home from work to a few just trapped under things... Quickest way to get rid of them is to stick the nozzle of compressed air turned upside down and freeze the bug. The effectively go to sleep while frozen and are easy to deal with. Kill or release.
