Chinas model has succeeded. State-controlled capitalism. What is really interesting about their system is the collective thinking oppose to our western individualistic ideals. Yes, they don’t have freedom of speech, free elections, etc, but they care about their peoples welfare. A satisfied population secures growth and stability

Yes! Since ‘01, the US has been slipping as a world power, though our alliances and trade relationships (like China joining the WTO) have continued to benefit all sides. But everything that’s happened this year feels like cutting the ropes that have been holding the US together.
