@thewhispersofhistory: In May 2021, a man was reported missing in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, just outside Barcelona. His body was found hours later—but not where anyone expected. Two passersby noticed a foul odour coming from a giant paper-mâché dinosaur statue outside an abandoned cinema. When firefighters arrived and cut open the statue’s leg, they discovered the man’s decomposing body lodged inside—headfirst. He had dropped his mobile phone inside the statue and, in a tragic attempt to retrieve it, crawled in through the leg and became stuck upside down. With no way to escape, he suffocated. His body remained there for over two days before it was found. No signs of violence were discovered, and police ruled out foul play. The death was officially deemed accidental. The dinosaur was later dismantled and removed entirely. The bizarre and tragic nature of the case went viral across Spain. It’s a chilling reminder of how quickly the ordinary can become deadly—and how something designed for fun can become the scene of a mystery no one saw coming. 👁️ Follow @thewhispersofhistory for more real cases that feel unreal. #dinosaur #barcelona #fyp #viral #scary #truecrimetiktok

👁‍🗨 UnpaidCorpse. 👁‍🗨 :

for those who don't know: the man was taking photos of the dinosaur statue but his phone accedantly fell in the dinosaur's leg so when he went for the phone inside the leg he got stuck and couldn't call 911 so he died there.
