I went in the other day and if you want to take out, you have to pay 10p per bag to take out, so I just say I’m eating in, and pick everything up with no bag and walk home with it

As someone who worked at maccies in the past. Has always been the case for a while. Not all maccies but some. This is because it is franchise. McDonald’s is more of a rental company that sell burgers and buildings to investors. The franchise owner can decide if they want to make it free or 10p. I worked in maccies back in 2017, and we had it there. Not NEW….
