Officer Timothy Runnels was sentenced to 4 years and was released from prison in 2019. He held the taser down for 20 seconds until Bryce's heart stopped. That's called attempted murder.

I hate to say this but since there are so many bad cops over the last 10 yrs or more there needs to be a nationwide permanent removal/reversal of qualified immunity. It's been abused for far too long by far too many. Public servants at all levels used to be held to a higher standard than the citizens & this would go a long way towards getting back to that instead of them having a big ego trip because they think they're above the law because of qualified immunity.
