purpose of centering the bubble is to sweep the vertical lane ( line of gravitation pull) and leveling your tripod to sweep the horizontal lane. then take measurements 1mm per segment on the E" staff..... thanks though🥰

If you want to be a good Surveyor please ensure also you have knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Practices ,by ensuring fully equipped personal protective equipment eg Helmet to protect you from safety hazards , Physical hazards and other related hazards .The PPEs should be properly dressed.
