This was the first concert I ever went to. JCS doesn't sound right to me without John Farnham, Kate Cebrano, Jon Stevens and Angry Anderson. It's such a totally different sound. I remember having the soundtrack on cassette and man did that get some use.

That production was so huge at the time - I was in highschool and remember when all the songs were played all the time because they were in the top 10 on the charts. I would have loved to see it live.

I love Erivo and women cast is JC superstar, but I don’t think this role isn’t as as challenging in range for women as it is for men. Farnham and Jon Stevens version of superstar has always been my favourite
