It's all about discipline.😌 When I'm with people, I usually leave my phone in my bag unless it's absolutely necessary. But in that case, I will inform the people I'm with.🌸

Born in 84, grew up in the 90s, I miss the age of no smart phones. As I was growing up, if you went somewhere, you were fully immersed in the moment. Whoever you were with had your full attention. You truly created meaningful memories. Now, when you’re out, wherever it is, your ‘fully immersed moments’ are constantly interrupted by texts, selfies, scrolling. I watch as I’m speaking with someone, the person gets a phone alert and checks their phone, answers a text. I don’t have their undivided attention. That bothers me SO much. I eventually stop talking, because they’d rather be on their phone. It’s sounds silly to say, but life before smart phones was completely wonderful. It was slower paced. We created meaningful experiences. One’s where we didn’t need to post about to get our ‘likes’. I miss the 90s and before🖤 If you read this far, I hope you have an amazing day beautiful soul🌻✌🏻✨
