another reason that I never see mentioned- family diagnosis. it's getting more common for siblings and parents to seek diagnosis after behavioural patterns that were previously seen as "family" traits are explained as autistic ones

They will think they solve it. Not because they or anyone can but they will force us to mask so badly that they see us as "cured of autism". This will severly negetivly impact our mental health and nothing good will come out of this.
