Oh my gosh….no… please no… as a hygienist. The only thing that gets plaque and bacteria off the teeth is mechanical motion, a.k.a. brushing. Please don’t lead people to believe that this actually scientifically works. 😭 please keep brushing even if you use a spray with it

oh great! another product Im going to have to explain to my patients is garbage. Absolutely not. You need to manually remove bacteria like streptococcus mutans and lactobacillis acidophilus from teeth. Gently misting their teeth isnt going to do a thing. Not to mention, the act of brushing helps stimulate the gums to help protect against porphyromonas gingivalis, which causes gingivitis, and can lead to periodontitis.

Does “clean” their teeth bc you definitely need the manual plaque & biofilm removal. HOWEVER!! Xylitol is an amazing sugar alcohol (not actual alcohol) that kinda coats teeth & doesn’t allow bacteria to feed on the carbs & produce acid. Definitely a good tool to use but try to get the plaque off best you can first!! 💖
