The Supreme Court says officers can get you out of the vehicle for officer safety and he has no recourse but to comply.

95 in a 70, thats 25 miles an hour over the limit. Meaning, its reckless driving which is not longer a citation, its an arrestable offense at the officers discretion (they CAN only ticket you, but also CAN arrest you and impound your car). The more you know!🌈

It’s got nothing to with intimidation. He wants to dig. And judging by the recourse and demeanor of the driver, the Trooper adequately picked the criminal element out of the crowd. The question becomes, will he or will he not locate the evidence of criminal activity that is occurring.

Anything 15 over in Indiana where I’m from is reckless driving aka a felony if the cop wants to be a dick but 30 over is grounds to pull you out without saying a single word

unfortunately for you 15 mph over the postage speed limit can be considered in Most states as reckless driving therefore you really have no choice you must step out of the vehicle, being that in some states reckless driving is considered a felony... and not to mention it is within the officers discretion whether or not to cite you with a ticket, take you to jail, or give you notice to appear. refusing to get out of your vehicle at this point is only influencing his discretion to bring you in. knowing when you're right and when you're wrong is key to exerting your rights.
