I went from 150lbs to 120lbs at 54… and my belly fat just WOULD NOT budge. I tried eating less. I tried doing more cardio. I kept starting again every Monday. Then I stopped trying to punish my body and started looking after it differently. ❤️ These 4 things made the biggest difference: 1️⃣ I moved more. I started walking every day instead of thinking I needed a hard workout to burn calories. Walking is simple, sustainable and easy to fit into everyday life. 2️⃣ I lifted weights 3–4 times a week. I swapped endless cardio for strength training. As we get older, maintaining muscle becomes so important, and strength training helps us stay strong, capable and confident. 3️⃣ I added protein to every meal. Eggs, Greek yoghurt, chicken, fish, lean meat… I started asking, “Where’s my protein?” It helped keep me fuller and made sticking to my meals so much easier. 4️⃣ I started going to bed and waking up at the same time. I stopped scrolling until midnight and started taking my sleep seriously. When I was rested, I had more energy and found it much easier to make good choices the next day. And here's what I really want you to know… You can start these habits at ANY age. ❤️ You don't need to change your entire life overnight. Start with a walk. Add protein to your next meal. Pick up some weights. Go to bed a little earlier. Then do it again tomorrow. It wasn't perfection that changed my body. It was consistency. If you're a woman in your 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s or beyond who wants to lose weight, get stronger and feel confident again… Follow me. ❤️ I share simple workouts, weight-loss tips and realistic advice to help women get fitter and healthier without spending their lives on a diet. You are NOT too old. It's NOT too late. Save this for the days you need a reminder. 💕
