Think about feeding your sourdough starter a buffet, not a snack. I see ALL. THE. TIME. starters being fed very small ratios and the baker having issues with their loaves. Hear me - this is not a 100% of the time solution. But more often than not, you will benefit from keeping less on hand and feeding a higher ratio. For example, I usually do 10g ish of starter in the jar. I eyeball this and it’s about a tsp. Then, I add 100g water and 100g flour. Mix and let it rise! This will last your starter alllll day or all night helping make sure it’s in a great state when you go to mix your dough. This is my favorite sourdough starter jar for many reasons. It’s liked on my other videos or in my showcase! Questions? Leave them in the comments and I’ll do my best to help :) Chocolate sourdough recipe is in my guide Sourdough Simplified. #sourdoughbaking #sourdoughstarter #starter #sourdoughstarterfeeding #chocolaterecipe
