At this point I'm seriously looking to drop homeowners insurance. 30 years of not even making a claim but the price keeps going up. It would be cheaper for me to just pay for damage than insurance.

call this company - Midwest insurance 219-864-3333 … my insurance increased by over $2k in past 2years I dropped them and went wi Midwest… they are an honest agency and will work with you

I’m in NC and mine went up due to Hurricane Helene. 🙄 my area was not even affected. WE are paying the insurance company to pay out those claims. It’s freaking ridiculous. Insurance in general is the biggest scam ever

Arkansas here. Talked to my insurance guy asking why mine went up with no claims. I was told they have to make back the money they paid out from the tornados from this spring. I live 2 hours away from where they happened. Why I’m paying for that is beyond me.

Tx here. Yes. Bought my house 5yrs ago. Started at $1600, then $1700, $1900, $2200. When it renewed this year $5200!! No claims .. nothing. Safeco is a scam company.. I got a new policy with Farmers for $1600

yep, mine doubled. last year was 2700 and now it's 4000. I shopped around found something less expensive. no claims filed and been in my home for 6 years. it's a ripoff! A true scam! can't afford it😡

Insurance companies are not repair companies. If collision centers and contractors raise their prices then insurance will also raise their prices. In my area, collision centers and contractors have raised their prices 30+%. Insurance premiums also went up that much. Also, natural weather disasters are becoming more costly due to hotter hot and colder cold weather, stronger winds, and bigger hail. Raise your deductible to the highest you can manage, avoid small claims, and keep your house maintained.

I have friend insurance.He said due to all the disasters insurance companies are bleeding red. Their plan is to double or triple EVERYONE’s premiums to recoup the cost. It’s for homes and cars.

My mortgage payment is tied into insurance and taxs. The taxs and insurance now make up over half my mortgage payment. Feel like I'm being pushed out of my home.
