Great point. I watched the sweet bubbly Kara from the Saturday morning cartoon first. Laura's initial disassociation from society and awkwardness makes so much more sense. I kinda dislike the unpleasant, uncooperative, and angry Kara from the flash movie less now.

Favorite Kara, she was hilarious and blunt. It was funny how Clark, at first, reverted to trying to parent her like Jonathan parented him, then they seemed to be friends/cousins later. I wish Laura/Kara got more scenes with Clark and Lex as a trio, it would have been an amazing dynamic to navigate - the two Kents who saved his life, neither if them willing to share their secret. 👏

With all due respect to all those who have played Supergirl in the past & future, apart from OG Slater, Laura embodied her role seamlessly & on point, which was probably not an easy task w/the core group on Smallville. So full kudos to Laura’s talent as an actor which should never be understated. More like resting bada$$ face IMO.👍
