McAfee and Norton are two of the worst things you can put on your PC. Stick to Windows defender NFS scans and occasionally malwarebytes. Also debloating windows helps.

most anti virus software are worse than going without any anti virus, I stick with Windows defender and free Malwarebytes, all you need, if you want a bit more protection, pay for Malwarebytes, they're the only anti virus/malware I trust
