Hi Endo Sister! I went to Portland and went to the NW Endometriosis and Pelvic Surgery. I saw Dr. Fogelson because he had a sooner opening, but I loved everyone at the clinic. And the staff at the hospital were amazing. I traveled from WA to see them.

I’m 4 weeks post op today. There’s no endo specialists in Ireland so I had to travel to a different country to get endo excision surgery with an incredible doctor. Im almost 10k in debt now but so so worth it. Health truly is everything. Thank you for sharing ❤️

My insurance won’t let me go out of network and I can’t afford a specialist so I’m stuck getting ablation once a year pretty much :( I’ve fought for years to go to a specialist ugh. I hate it

They definitely know. She stayed with me during my entire recovery from my hysterectomy and was unusually gentle around me.

Im so mad. I never had endo before. I just found out I have abdominal wall endometriosis that almost exclusively occurs due to cell’s being exposed during an abdominal surgery, which would have been my c-section two years ago. Went to my ob and she told me to try Orilissa (that it can “cure it”) or to get pregnant again. I asked for a referral to a specialist that does endo excision surgery and she said no need, they’d do it. I know things can happen in surgery but I never knew this was even a possibility.

Dr dassel is amazing if he’s still practicing. He’s younger and truly is the only male Dr I’ve ever had that I felt listened to me truly. He worked at cle clinical when I saw him then I think moved to Utah? But he was truly the best endo Dr/surgeon I’ve ever had. Only one I’ve ever truly trusted.

Yeah ablation was first for me last summer. Also got that confirmation that it was done wrong. My excision with a specialist is scheduled for the day after Christmas ❤️may this be the year we get the relief we so badly deserve.

so sad and crazy that surgeons are still doing multiple ablations on ladies.🥲 and even more sad that insurance only covers ablation and not excision. speaking from an endo sister & someone who also works in the endo field so I know the struggle. goodluck with your upcoming surgery!💛💛

Endometriosis is honestly the worst thing!! I’m 19 and I am currently waiting to have my surgery - the waiting list is anywhere from 2-3 years long minimum! But my story and other people’s stories like yours has inspired me to share my story and start a small business to support those with endometriosis!!! Adenomyosis and PCOS!!! Stay strong ❤️❤️

My specialist told me with how much they were able to remove, I should hopefully get at least 5 years of relief and now we should be able to have children!
