Leave 5mm gap around the laminate everywhere. It shouldn’t touch anything. You’ll need to get a scotia beading to hide the gap after if you aren’t putting the skirting ontop. Use the jigsaw upside down so there’s no breakout / chip. Do not use glue for laminate. Cut the door frames to the same size of the laminate + underlay thickness with a multi tool. Make sure floor is flat. - easy job.

They’ll just stay in place babe once ya got a few down they’ll stay put. Don’t cut them to close to the walls though as the planks need room to expand with diff temps through year x

watch some YouTube vid, super easy. you can buy a kit for laying laminate, it'll have everything you'll need to knock it into place and it LL come with spacers too, also laminate is classed as a floating floor so no need for any glues or anything like that.

The laminate u have will all click in place no glue or adhesive needed once you do one room you’ll fly through the others it’s super easy! Cutting is the worst part 😁
