Been thinkin about joining my local law enforcement agency along with doing ride alongs. Having trouble deciding if I want to go into law enforcement or medicine. compartmentalizing is the key you just put it in a little box in your brain to deal with after the incident so you can do the job. all law enforcement, firefighter and medical professionals have to do this. that's how I dealt with it

It’s sad that police in each state are paid differently. Sone states pay well and other states to low. It’s not enough, it should be higher paying job.
