@imsochiki: gridding is always the first concept i show to students who are trying to get a stronger sense of rhythm/develop accurate note placement. the idea itself is very simple and relatively easy to execute, but depending on the physical technique you layer onto the grid, it could get very difficult. this is being used as a slap bass exercise for right now, but realize you can apply this concept to endless other techniques. #bass #guitar #musictheory
