The real locals live in the Flamingo Park area of SoBe. Between Penn Ave and Alton you’ll find (relatively) affordable art deco apartments and normal people who work normal jobs.

Born and raised on Miami Beach . Treasure island,Nautilus and Beach high . My kids went to lehrman, nautilus and beach high. I still live in mid beach . I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.. Great post !

I disagree about south beach , bc we have the best boardwalk, the scenery is amazing with the palms art deco, muscle beach … beach side of sobe is very healthy not all trash and party, beach is so clean and curated

North beach is less crowded but the prettiest beach with clearest water is South Pointe/Nikki Beach. Locals would remember where Penrods was.
