He was hopping around, tail wagging, and covered me in kisses. He’s rescue only, which means the shelter needs a rescue partner to pull him. If you’re a local foster, please comment that you can commit long-term so rescues can see and consider saving him. Langley doesn’t deserve to die because he got hurt. This timing is completely out of my control. I am not the shelter and do not decide which animals are placed on the list or what their outcomes will be. I’m just a volunteer networking and advocating for at-risk dogs. The shelter is legally required to accept every animal brought to them regardless of breed, temperament, health, or circumstance. Because intake is so high and space is so limited, there is a daily euthanasia list. I can’t take every dog home or hold any dog for anyone for any period of time, I already have several dogs and fosters in my care. Please be aware that all euth dogs need a hold by 1PM.
