They break apart at the tail end the only way to ensure they don’t break as easy as the grab by the head, which is near the band. Those invasive worms are literally everywhere.

why am I just learning of Asian jumping worms today. I moved some old logs around my property last year and literally found buckets of them and filled my raised bed with them. the 2 beds I put the most in actually done horrible and I wondered then if the worms were bad and just thought it was a bad year. ughh I've already put what I'm growing in them this year 😭

You’re actually not right. Really good compost has NO WORMS because it is too hot for worms and insects. It sounds like you have Asian jumping worms!!!

I JUST discovered them in my compost bin 😭😩 heading to Lowe’s to get a large black tarp to spread my compost to kill them… I am devastated
