During summer my kiddos don’t have a bedtime. Sometimes they’ll stay up until 2am, my husband stays up with them while I go to bed anywhere from 9-11. but during school they do have a bedtime/routine.

I love this. I homeschool and struggle with bedtimes and fitting in everything. This is just showing me that I need to just embrace the late hours. Mine are older though. 16 and 11. Thank you for sharing this.

I couldn't. My daughter and I are in bed by 9:00. Even on the weekends we are in bed by 10:30.

Been nite owl since I was born (+never needed much sleep) & now youngest is the same! 7yo usually asleep by 8-9pm & thrives off routine, but 5yo goes to sleep 12-1am (even during school) & is up by 630am! It works for us even tho a lot of moms give me the😒 (if 5yo went to bed at 8pm she would be up at like 1-2am ready for the day!!)

I have 3 kids and I have my time and my time with hubby I can’t judge what someone else chooses to do. This would not work for me though with full time job and kids school etc. Earlier routine works best for us.

Near kids grow up and find spouses please make sure they find one that fits their schedule. I am warning my spouse’s nights that could be nothing more separate than that lol
