that picture at the start is of Illinois, and unless im mistaken much of that red territory is sparsely populated farmland, whereas the blue is densely packed urban and metropolitan areas. Rep Bacon seems to be suggesting all that blue be lumped together while the red be split up, which would in fact be republican gerrymandering. why should millions of people only get one rep while a few tens of thousands get several? land doesn't vote.

Dems prefer to vote through mail because they are busy working their jobs and taking care of their families. A lot of productive people don’t have time to wait in line for 2 hours in the middle of the day and would prefer to vote via mail, which can be done on their own time. In addition, you can actively look into each of the candidates as you’re voting and decide which upholds your values better.
