it's VERY rare for someone to be making ice at home. the LOCAL people don't drink that water, so they are not selling it to anyone. it's not impossible, but it's HIGHLY unlikely that you'll encounter ice made at home, ESPECIALLY at busy cafes and restaurants with high demand. unless you're going to some remote place without a single soul in the establishment you'll be fine. this fearmongering is unnecessary and truly rooted in xenophobia. check your privilege
