This is a perfect example of why, you don’t volunteer information or start a conversation. Even if it’s very innocent. You don’t know the state of mind the people that get in your car are. So unless you’re responding to something they’re saying, I generally keep quiet.

I’ve been working as an Uber driver for over three years. I always talk, joke, and sometimes laugh out loudunless I notice someone is tired, in which case I leave them alone. To be completely honest, I haven’t come across a single person who was rude or behaved badly. Not even once.
