Breaking News: Gbenga Obama Robbed, Lil Kesh Stabbed and Robbed in Broad Daylight in Lagos as Residents Cry Out Over Rising Insecurity – Lagos Reporters In yet another chilling reminder of the growing insecurity in Lagos State, residents of Ikeja are living in fear after CCTV footage surfaced showing the shocking moment Gbenga Obama was violently robbed of his gold jewelry in broad daylight along Fadeyi Aladura Street. The incident, which occurred in full public glare, has left many shaken as the footage revealed how the assailants operated with little fear of being apprehended. In a separate but equally disturbing attack, popular musician Lil Kesh was reportedly stabbed and stripped of his jewelry by hoodlums also in Lagos. The singer, according to eyewitnesses, was rushed to the hospital and is currently receiving treatment for injuries sustained during the assault. Residents of the community, alarmed by the brazen nature of the attacks, have called on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to take urgent action. “We no longer feel safe in our homes or on the streets. People now sleep with their eyes open,” one resident told Lagos Reporters. Community leaders stressed that those perpetrating these acts must be brought to book to restore public confidence in the government’s ability to secure lives and property. The Lagos Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the incidents as of press time. Lagos Reporters will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as more details emerge.
