I loved his street ware style, but in the book he was serving sophistication and class when it came to his wardrobe. I think with Chi Cheng they tried to follow the book coz in the book he actually wore the same outfit which was his work uniform since his dad was a high ranking government official so Chi Cheng was working in the Government as well coz he kept changing departments so thus the wearing the uniform for the majority of the story. He spent most of his time at work if not with Wei Wei
