nothing to save from this album. the most generic
nothing to save from this album. the most generic "rage" songs lay in this project. beats? genereic ass delivery? normal ass rapper ong idfk flow? i actually found it playful and good on some songs. but again, most of the time generic just a boring listen that doesnt bring anything to rap. I LOVE BLEOODHUB, SAY IT WITH ME ############Bro I'm the prodigy puppyboy Nobody fw mehe can def do better cartier god is by far the most experimental rapper ever. his recent alvum "Vartier" shows us otherwise. his production on this project isnt experimental at all. the average Hi-hats, snares, synths and 808's u hear in most mainstream albums these days. it lacks the intense sampling and the "homemade" instuments his previous albums use in beats. when it comes to vocals, cartier uses his voice in a monotone matter. he doesnt rap up or down in scale at all. album lacks what made cartier god an interesting artist in the first place and is very repetitive (second half uses the same synth for the lead in all the beats).yo im crine what is this dude even sayingeven tho i love install, this felt like a huge step back. the mixing hasnt improved one bit, got worse actually and the songs feel boring and dont carry that vibe xavier usually gives with his others projects. the beats are mid, a combination of hyperpop and jerk which doesnt work at all. some songs are fun but most of them are boring and unlistable.wow, just wow. xavier does something ive never heard before in such a perfect manner. install can either be played as background music and can also be rewarding if u are a close listener. it features weird offbeat bars that instead of making this album feel like a joke, adds up to the level of "bizzare" it has. the beats are classic jerk combined with some strong 808s and playful piano. the best thing about this album is that it doesnt take ifself seriously. thats what xavoer managed to do, create some extremely vibey rap. nothing about it is made to be debunked, just listen to the songs and have a great time. the weird offbeat melodic parts, samples of people talking and sped up or slowed down moments only help. the mixing is weird on some songs tho and the beats and flows get repetitive towards the secind half, but it remains entartaining. overall, i recommand it and will come back myself well, people told me he is a rusty unc. i kinda believed em because his recent feats were dogshit and here i am at 1am writing about his newest EP. the beats arent that crazy, not the classic Uzi but still alright. his flow is the best thing. the melodic catchy speed of his rapping is fascinating. most songs start really strong but get boring after 1 minute. he even tried experimenting with some "hyperpop" in the tra k "YOLO", which in my opinion worked perfectly. the lyrics arent as good as his prime projects (Luv Is Rage 2, Erernal Atake), where he used to rap about problems and depression. he is over 30 yo rn so it makes sense. overall, its decently good.great. i finished The Book 2 by yoasobi. the book (1) is one of my fav albums and i was expecting the same feeling from this one too. i can say that the delivery got better (especially with the highs) but the beats toned down. the main problem with this album is that it sounds 80% the same as The book (1) which kills its rating by a lot. im afraid that of the book 3 doesnt have any switch of vibe, its gonna get a pretty harsh rating from me. the album itself is good but considering the fact that its similar to its predecesor its an 7i like it ngl. when i think of UK rap, central Cee and skepta come into my mind. i dont like their music one bit. but esdeekid was actually alright. monotone delivery and just ur basic uk rap lyricism but the beats give this an dreamy atmosphere. frats are great but the songs dont have the biggest replaybility inooh my god. such energy and such beats. just pure madness and vibes. rest in bass was one of my fav albums ever. i expected encore to be far behind it but again, che proves me wrong. i didnt like it KYI
