Avery County Resident ~ since Helene we need your business. But we need your respect as well. We all lost something because of the floods. Some people lost a loved one or everything. Some just lost something. I lost everything but was lucky to have found a rental. But the trauma will be with us forever. When you visit give us your respect. Even if we come off as grouchy. I would almost bet before Helene that person would have been the first to say howdy. We are a hurt community some just a little worse than others. A lot of people still don't have homes or cars. Keep us in your prayers.

Don’t forget Chimney Rock Village. It’s closed and no one can get in it except the people that live there and the workers that is helping to rebuild it. Chimney Rock has opened. They need your prayers also
