Uh no, never happened - in early 70’s professional window, cleaners would use newspapers because the windows would get dirty so quickly it didn’t matter, but people did not use newspapers at home

Squeegee’s have been around for decades. And I remember people using newspaper, and I know people who still use it. It does not scratch windows and it also helps with streaking. But go on and continue lying to try to sell your BS product.
