Sobyou trained yourself , she’s not controlling her own eliminations . Potty training when done at the right time will take 3-7 days not months and months lol

when my son was 1 he started wanting to go potty on his own....we didn't take him consistently....by the time we were ready about a yr or so later he no longer cared and it was then quite difficult to get him to want to use the potty.....I say do what's best for you and your baby but most of all follow their cues....and don't underestimate your child they are capable of so much more than we often give the credit for and will only see those things as a chore or no fun if we train them to see it that way
