Coaches kill potential💀 they will not let you dribble the ball or play like a pg because you’re tall for their team. They should make them develop a lot of skills and not focus on one because it’s killing their potential

I'm going through that right now. As a kid, I was always a center because in the smaller leagues I was one of the tall players, but last year I was a small forward and I loved it. Now that all the tall players have left the team, I have to be a center again, and I fking hate it.

Some people may find this funny but it's actually sad, here in the philippines if you are a 6 footer in highschool they will force you to play powerforward or center so when its time for you play in college you can't show your pure skills or potential because you are used to play center not a pointguard.

This isn’t really high school’s fault because if you have a basketball team and the tallest player is 6’2 who else will play big? You have to work on your guard skills at the same time

I wish I played in today’s game. I was 6’8, HS back to the basket and on the block, when I was a stretch 4 with SF skill sets. If it wasn’t for AAU I wouldn’t have been recognized being a small town kid
