@lexienoelleundem: We’re not permissive parents. We don’t excuse the behavior or let it slide. We’re doing the hard, consistent, exhausting work every single day. But parenting a neurodivergent child is a different kind of hard. It’s navigating explosive outbursts—being hit, screamed at, told I’m the worst mom ever—then ten minutes later, holding her while she cries and tells me I’m her favorite person. The emotional whiplash is real. The guilt, the second-guessing, the feeling like I’m failing even when I’m giving it everything I have—it’s relentless. Breaking cycles is already brutal. Breaking cycles while parenting through emotional storms and trauma responses? Some days, it feels impossible. But we still show up. We still try. And we still believe in the healing we’re fighting for. #momlife #olebrandselect #neurodivergent #adhdtiktok #sensoryissues

Blondecurlymom :
What’s even more fun is being neurodivergent yourself so you experience the same thing but having to remain calm when every piece of you wants to break….

I’m autistic and mom is my hero and savior. There is nothing more powerful than a parent who can handle the neurodivergent ups and downs. But my heart breaks for her and for you. I hate what I put her through. I promise you really ARE her favorite person. She lashes out because you are safe but that’s NOT fair to you. I’m so sorry ❤️

my youngest does this but shes perfect for them at school. I remind myself she is masking all day, gets exhausted and burnt out just like I do and at home she is in her safe space to let it out. I do hope it gets better though 😅

My son has Odd. Felt this in my soul. And my husband and I are neurodivergent as is likely my youngest. No one gets how stressful it is. Someone always overstimulated
