Most of DC is super safe during the day. SE and now towards Silver Spring are the only sketch places. Reall nighttime is the only time to be scared. I’m more scared of PG Coubty than anywhere in the district.

All of you people saying that crime exist in DC. No one is arguing the crime doesn’t exist or isn’t significant. But nothing that’s happening in DC warrants federal police patrolling the city outside of federal jurisdiction.

DC has its lower violent crime in 30 years. Even if it didn’t why is it not allowed to deal with its crime in-house. Why is the same federal over-reach not applied to red state cities with much higher rates? Obviously everyone would like lower violent crime everywhere. What solutions do they ever actually propose and why aren’t those solutions implemented and effective in Republican strongholds?
