My boy is 4 and still wears pull ups at night but his pediatrician said it’s not a concern until closer to 6…. 😬 He’s been fully day time potty trained for over a year..

Elexus Riquelme :
yeah, no it does not work like that. And usually the bed wetters are the deep sleepers according to a pediatrician. It is very hard for them to wake up in the middle of deep sleep. It’s about their brain and their brains ability to send that signal.

I heard wetting the bed at an older age is a huge red flag there could be trauma and it’s psychological.

I used to have the most vivid dreams of going to the bathroom and peeing, but was actually sound asleep. I hated it so much. This happened till I was atleast 8 or 9.

Direct from a pediatrician, accidents between 4-6 is totally normal. Cut water off after dinner. Most kids are running around all day and sleep so hard that they can’t wake themselves up.

I have a 11 yr old that occasionally wets the bed still and can’t figure out why, he doesn’t snore or struggle breathing night. He says he thinks he’s going and getting up to go. Could heavy sleeping and those who dream a lot be the the issue?
