Honestly go to a bike shop and sit on a few. I dont claim to be a expert. Went and sat on a few different ones and talked with the associates.

go to the dealer and ask to sit on it. and sit on all the other bikes and see what feels comfortable and manageable

You’ll be fine, if you feel like it’s to tall though you can get those lowered a little. And invest in some boots and give you an inch or two to help. But most of the time you can just support the bike from one side

Im going to keep saying this anymore that just blurts out a bike ignore them. don't listen to salesmen. a good starter bike for you is the one you can AFFORD (including insurance) the one you are comfortable on and CONFIDENT in if its your first bike FLAT FOOT THAH MF LOOK COOL LATER

Ninja 400 or 300 are great starter bikes, if you have to tippy toe learn to slide to one side and put one foot down. Better than messing up your ability to corner with a lowering kit.

CBR 300 is a heavy 300, get a yama R3 its smaller to the ground for your height, and outbeats its engine class for acceleration, so you wont want to upgrade for a while!

Ninja 400 is a great learner. Ninja 650 if your a little more confident and want to grow into it

Go to the dealer and sit on as many bikes as possible and find one that is comfortable to you, that’s the best way to find a bike for you doesn’t mean you have to buy from them but gives you the best idea on what will work for you.

Every sport bike made can be lowered to accommodate the rider. However with lack of experience don’t get anything over 400cc till you gain experience.

You can always get it lowered it might have to be custom Kawasaki use to make bikes that can be lowered I don’t think they are manufactured anymore but could probably still find them

cbrs sit a little higher then others. I loved my r3 or the ninja 400 is pretty fun

Sit on bikes fit what you love if you happen to be too short get lowering springs for the bike or wear taller shoes when riding

I bought a Honda rebel 300 brand new for 4k, it's lightweight and has bigger wheels to help with the learning. great starter bike but wouldn't suggest it on the interstate.

the cbr is a good bike I'm on a rebel 250 but I got it because I could afford the $300 upfront and the $300 a year insurance on it but get what you like and can afford
