I used to be the eldest daughter who was an academic achiever, confident, and with big dreams and high ambitions. But that was in the past. Now, I find myself a full-time mother, often feeling as though my life has lost its direction, as if this is where it ends for me. Still, I give my all to be a loving mother and a devoted wife. Every eldest would feel this, especially when their younger siblings is so much more successful than us the eldest. Not jealousy or anything but the pressure from outside and within is too big. To all the eldest out there, you are doing great. Maybe physical success is not visible but you know emotional wise you did great. If you are not okay with what you are at, you could always change that. Just please chose something you could control then the one you can’t.
