My endo expects me to change something if it’s not working and if I need help to message him so we can work through it together. He’s my hero and I’m so grateful to him for teaching me to be my own advocate.

I’ve only just started getting the confidence to change my own settings/ratios, 1 year in! Do you recommend only changing one thing at a time and testing that for 3 days? I’m so impatient I just want to make sweeping changes 🫣🫣

and thats not the endo for us....its what my girls first endo team taught us to do, how to change them and recgonize where and when. its how we are able to keep her adjusted in a timely manner for keep her in a good a1c range other wise wed be on the phone with them constantly.

Mine was like glad you changed your carb ratio since you were having so many lows. I’ve heard crazy stories of them getting mad. I can’t imagine a mean endo 🥹😥

My endo asked me back in December if I changed them (because my sugars weren’t coming down long story short I was going into DKA because I didn’t have supplies so I was like… spreading them out to last longer) and I went “I did-“ and he just goes “okay, that’s good.” I was like 👀

our endo pretty much gave us free rein to change whatever we needed. as she put it you know yourself/her better then i do. Just keep me updated on how everything is going lol
