This is a good idea. You don't need that expensive smoke detector with the carbon in it. You can keep your smoke detector, but use this.

Just go electric. A lot less headache. Cheeper water heater, easy to install it yourself. No danger.

Technician... OK i just installed a Carbon Monoxide Detector Ran new wiring and Mounting Bracket Inspected Water Hearter and HVAC system. Trip Charge $75. Service $75 per hr x3 inspection $125 per appliance Installation $250. Device $350. Gas Trip Charge $75. so that will total $1100.00 👍

As a gas employee, regardless of the order I’m on, I tell my customers or ask. About CO detectors. And then I usually tell them to go get them from the store. Every room. Plug them in: PLUG not on the ceiling that’s useless. Even in all electric homes, with electric cars, you need them

Shotscar, I’ve been a longtime follower of yours. You have inspired me to carry random spare parts for my HVAC. But with all respect, this video is embarrassing. This is beyond a hack job. A tack? Really? That lacks all professionalism. I’m not unfollowing now, but I do want to give some honest feedback that this video gives you a very poor image.

You said what was the point installing the pressure relief valve(PRV). I know why?……SO IT FRICKING DOESNT BLOW UP!!!!! What’s wrong with you. Who cares if it doesn’t have a pipe going to the drain. Water expands and when it does it’s a problem if it doesn’t have any safeties….Boom! That is the reason a PRV is installed my friend.
