@meohmyah: Recovery update: I’m alive, ridiculously puffy, and fully supported by carbs and the world’s best mom 🩷 This was the final stage of my Osseointegration surgery, now the real work begins: learning how to walk. Still deep in it, but finding comfort where I can. These slow, unfiltered moments are part of healing too. Tonight’s my first night on my own. My mom’s heading home to take care of the kids and if all goes as planned, I’ll be heading home tomorrow too. So thankful for everything she’s done to get me to this point. Her love carried me through.
