Ive been doing something like this but with fewer changes, Actually i got it from one of the creators on instagram where she called it RIDE Framework, R for requirements I: The issue D: the design and E : end result, this helped me to give a meaningful structure for the case study

This is cool! It really opens up the possibilities of just getting the f’ing thing done, then coming back to all the other stuff - all the “how” that takes so long. I procrastinate on updating my folio as it takes so long, but this helps to give an overview which is probably all that’s needed.

Do you think as a mid-level designer that we should opt for more detail rather than less in a case study? I notice you have less detail but that is because you’re a principal designer and already have the credentials to back it up. For a mid-level designer, maybe they will need to prove themselves more through their case studies. What do you think?

I’ve been doing this and I’m getting more feedback that it’s not in-depth enough. I’m convinced I might be able to add in a few non-sensical images with a ton of sticky notes and I’ll get more traction 🫠
