“If you can’t afford a tip, don’t eat out”💀 it’s actually mental, I would not be tipping on top of a meal out for my family of 4 with that kind of expectation. A memorable, friendly & outstanding customer service from someone may sway a small tip but not 20%+ I’ve already paid for the meal itself!

I chose no tip at a Starbucks drive thru and the girl turned around and announced/shouted “NO TIP!!!” To her coworkers?! As someone who goes to Starbucks like once I year I was stunned to say the least.

I just don‘t understand the system in america. How is it allowed to pay servers so little and expect the customer to pay their salary ON TOP of the food cost. In my country a tip is extra on top of a livable wage.

Omg I was watching one of Drew Talbert's skits about tipping and the entire comment section was saying "if you can't afford to tip don't eat out" ??? Tipping is something to show the service is good it doesn't make sense if it's a default 😭😭
