@courthayes4: Your body isn’t broken!!! after decades of struggling with chronic anxiety, OCD, panic attacks & a whole long list of symptoms that came from it, here are some ways to start healing your body ⬇️ 🥑Nutrition is number 1, 90% of serotonin is produced in your gut and there’s a huge correlation between your gut & your brain. The book “the mind gut connection” by emeran mayer is a great book to dive into to learn more 🍳With that - start paying attention to ingredients. There’s a saying that goes “if you don’t recognize the ingredient list, your body probably doesn’t either”. Remove the artificial sweeteners, colors, gums, inflammatory oils & additives & stick to whole, nutrient dense foods. This alone makes the biggest difference over time. 🌞Having a regulated nervous system is one of the most important things. Your body can’t heal if it doesn’t feel safe enough to do so. This can take time, but consistent practices to remind your body it’s safe add up. Humming, EFT tapping, breathwork, grounding, & ear massages, setting healthy boundaries, having healthy relationships all help the body feel safe ⏰ Build an AM routine for yourself! Cortisol levels are naturally high in the AM so finding ways to ground yourself is gonna help prevent anxiety from carrying into your day. Sun exposure, gentle movement, journaling, soothing music, prayer/meditation, etc. 🍳Have a balanced breakfast (especially before coffee to avoid any spikes in blood sugar + cortisol which can lead to more feelings of anxiousness). Pairing a healthy fat + quality protein + starchy veggie/carb/fruit within 60 min of waking up is ideal 🗣️ CHANGE YOUR LANGUAGE!!! If you’re always saying “I’m an anxious person”...you’re gonna be an anxious person. Your subconscious is always listening, and your words, thoughts & beliefs hold so much power. Shift your language to how you want to be feeling (I’m safe in my body. I’m healing day by day. I am worthy of optimal health). #anxietytiktok #anxietyrelief #anxietydisorder

For anyone here who’s feeling that debilitating anxiety — I know how lonely and scary it can be at times, so I made a faceless support group on discord to talk about anxiety + healing. You’re all welcome 🤍 let me know if you want to join!

We got meds babe, I’ve been on it for years, just a simple chemical imbalance, meds help get us back to baseline, I call it my brain vitamin lol

I struggle a lot with anxiety and sometimes I honestly feel like I’m about to die, like from a heart attack or something out of nowhere. My mind always goes to the worst case and fills me with negative thoughts. Does anyone else go through this too?

Gut health is a massive part of anxiety, bad gut = bad nervous system, eat clean, exercise, breathing techniques & remind yourself every time that you WILL be ok 🩷

This has been me the past year. Really bad panic attacks and constant anxiety after a really bad initial panic attack in 2024. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve cried thinking I’ll never feel normal or be able to live the life I did before.
