We camped at Land between the Lakes all the time. It’s Kentucky lake btw! All the locals never have a problem, it’s always tourists

I live in KY, it’s called Kentucky lake, there are many towns and cemeteries under water, at low pool you can see houses, graves stones on the lake .

I ride horses and OHV there all the time for years. Camped as well… nothing. Worse thing you have to worry about are the wild hogs there.

I have lived in Dover TN for 20 years. My mother in law and grandmother in law were from Tharpe.( now LBL) they only thing I’ve ever heard is about the murders or Carla Atkins and Vicki Stout.

I do! my dad was a moonshine runner. We spent many, many, many weekends driving around laughing, the lakes stretching from one part of Western Kentucky to the other part of Tennessee. it's unfortunate that they drove all the people that lived there for years Golden pond area. another areas over in LBL and then later wanted to put in a big theme park. least to say that never happened because the people that were pushed out the family still live here in the area and they weren't about to let that happen. but it is a beautiful place to visit and a wonderful place to go fishing. if you love to fish. I really wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

dude, the Dip in Dover, tn (still LBL) has the best burgers I the area. if you hop over the bridge into Paris, tn and want bbq go to trolengers. my family goes camping up LBL and has since before I can remeber. I dont do back woods camping though.
