When my cleric became blind, our sorcerer stepped UP! He spent a month in game learning to guide my cleric and help him with everything. The sorcerer even flipped on our own party members when in-fighting between the rogue and monk caused our cleric to almost be assassinated in the middle of the night in an alley, miles from the rest of the party. The sorcerer almost set the breakfast table on fire when he found out about it the next morning. Both me and the Sorcerer’s player started crying.

This was Dragonborn(Reincarnated into Tiefling later) Barbarian with the party sorcerer. First encounter the sorcerer got Crit and went down. My Barb jumped over the table, and Crit the same enemy back. From then on they vowed to protect the sorcerer. When the party faced Fire Giants in a forge, and the sorcerer got downed from lava. My Barb proceeded to shoulder check giants to get to her, and get her up. They were the ONLY members from the original party to survive the WHOLE campaign. Barb was Demon Time

in my current campaign 6 of 7 players are siblings and the seventh is currently being fostered by the family & we're very protective over the 2 youngests, like it's all calm put you so much as raise your voice to one of them & you'll have at least 4 bodies flying your way, literally we once double speared into an RKO into a dogpile 🤣
